Our Goals
Our goals are “mission-market” related and we aim to create value in the form of social, financial and environmental returns for a range of individuals and groups, especially those suffering some form of disadvantage such as high levels of unemployment and underemployment.
Our goals relate to:
-
Networking among enterprise communities and social entrepreneurs.
-
Social purposes and goals infused and integrated with rigorous business practices as a means of achieving best social enterprise design and outcomes.
-
An orientation to innovation, resourcefulness and opportunity (a modernising agenda) to produce sustainable social enterprises that can demonstarte an earned income (as opposed to the reproduction of grant dependency cultures).
-
The creation of supportive learning environments supported by useful research and technology applications for the nurturing of social entrepreneurs and community social enterprises especially where there is disadvantage.
We have a special interest in identifying critical influences that make social enterprises more sustainable and economic while retaining a focus on their mission.
